The UK Government has confirmed its intention to regulate the activities of private investigators. Soon, it will be a criminal offence to engage in investigative work without a licence issued by the Security Industry Authority (SIA). This licence will only be granted following a criminality and identity check, and the successful completion of a competency-based training programme.
The UK Private Investigator Training Academy (UKPITA) delivers the SFJ Awards Level 3 Award – the SIA’s recommended qualification – and takes it much further. Our unique ‘course within a course’ approach is designed to equip you with not just the certificate, but the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed as a professional investigator.
